The PACTcon2018 closing night dinner and reception will take place on Saturday, May 12 in the National Arts Centre’s Canada Room. Drink and hors d’oeuvres begin at 6:30pm, followed by a buffet dinner.

Tickets for the event are $50 plus tax.

Cold table:
Garden mixed green & red lettuces, two dressings & garnishes – Veg, V, GF
Tuscan bean salad, spicy pickled eggplant, marinated mushrooms, roasted garlic, extra virgin olive oil – Veg, V, GF
Curried cauliflower salad with toasted sliced almonds & dried fruits – Veg, V, GF
Warm German style potato salad, green onions, mustard seed vinaigrette – Veg, GF

Daily soup kettle creation – Veg, V, GF

Hot table:
Braised Alberta beef short ribs, pearl onions & merlot jus – GF
Chicken with three citrus cream & pink peppercorns – GF
Filet of salmon, Kalamata olive & shaved heart of palm, light tomato sauce – GF
Cheese tortellini au gratin with peppers, red onions and spinach in a rose sauce – Veg
Crème fraiche mashed potatoes – Veg, GF
Byward market seasonal vegetables – Veg, V, GF

Special Vegan dish: Vegan Chickpea panisse with Tomato concasee, Mushroom fricassee, Asparagus and Roasted pepper emulsion

Chef’s selection of cakes, tarts, flans

Dinner Buffets include freshly baked rolls with butter, freshly brewed Seattle’s Best coffee, decaffeinated coffee and teas.
