Apart from regular conference programming, we’re offering several ways to connect and interact with your peers and colleagues. We hope that you find something that sounds appealing and draws you in!

PACTcon Free Little Library

You’ve seen them in your neighbourhood and on your travels – now you can join in at PACTcon. Free Little Libraries are community mini-libraries in which you can share a book and take a book. Bring a favourite book to share with your colleagues and pick up something new. It might be a playscript, a book that has helped you in your career, or something completely unrelated to theatre that inspires you or helps you recharge. For an extra special treat, leave a little note in the book letting your colleagues know why you left this read to share.

Drop your book off at the Welcome Table when you check in, and come browse the library on Thursday through Saturday in the Persephone Theatre lobby.

You Rock!

The person across from you in a session came up with an amazing idea, articulated how you had been feeling for years about succession planning or just told a hilarious story at the bar. Tell them THEY ROCK! It’s free – it’s easy – and it will make someone’s day!

You will find a couple of “You rock!” notes in your conference package. Write down who rocks and why and post the note on the message board so everyone can appreciate it or just pass it along to the person.

Skills Exchange Board

We’ll have an incredible breadth of experience and knowledge at this conference. Let’s connect and share our skills.

Are you looking for advice on a particular subject? Write your request on a Skills Exchange slip and post it to the corkboard near the Welcome Table.

Do you have a rare skill that you would be glad to share? Browse the requests on the board and offer up your expertise, or post a slip with your skill and see who wants to talk.
